Red wine from a Sicilian variety of excellence: Nero D’Avola. The Sirah, a grape used by the French, seems to be of Persian origin.

Refinement: in steel tanks for 5 months, then 10 months in used barriques, then other 3 months of aging in bottle.

Tasting Notes: An intriguing wine from the authentic colors and vibrant shades. The Sicilian features are recognised by the slow flow and a strong impact with the nose. Detailed and defined, raspberries and strawberries taste, with a sweet and spicy pepper one, which close the fragrance.
You can perceive the wine firmly, dry and warm, but with a significant freshness and fine tannins, which gives a cleaned and kind taste.
Food Pairings: Monti Sikani pecorino cheese, roast lamb with potatoes, meat and grilled sausage, pasta alla Norma with fried eggplant.
